This policy explains how Karja Tracker (“Karja”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use the Karja Tracker website and application. It is written as a practical starting policy for the current product. Before a public commercial launch, it should be reviewed for the laws and operating entity that apply to your deployment.

1. Hum kaunsi information handle karte hain

Karja may process account information provided through Google sign-in, such as your name, email address, profile image and a stable account identifier. We also process information you or other group members add to the service, including group names, member details, expense descriptions, amounts, dates, split choices, debt records and settlement states.

2. Information ka use kaise hota hai

We use this information to authenticate users, show the groups they belong to, calculate and display shared balances, support expense and settlement workflows, operate reminders, prevent abuse, maintain security and respond to support requests.

3. Group mein kaun kya dekh sakta hai

Financial records are intended to be visible only to authorized members of the relevant group. Group identifiers are selectors, not authorization by themselves; the application verifies active membership before group data is read or changed.

4. Hamare service providers

Karja currently relies on service providers for authentication, database and application infrastructure, and transactional reminder email. Those providers process information on our behalf under their own terms and privacy commitments. Depending on deployment configuration, these providers may include Google Firebase, Supabase and Resend.

5. Reminders kaise kaam karte hain

If reminder email is enabled, Karja may send at most one combined digest to a person per day when they have at least one open payment. That digest may include open payments from multiple groups. Close-requested and closed items are excluded, and delivery attempts may be recorded to prevent duplicate reminders.

6. Security kaise maintain karte hain

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect account and group information, including authenticated access and database authorization checks. No online service can promise absolute security.

7. Data kitne time tak rakhte hain

We retain information for as long as needed to operate the service, maintain legitimate records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements and meet legal requirements. Retention details may depend on how the production service is configured.

8. Aapke choices

You may request access, correction or deletion of information where applicable. Some group records may involve other members and may need to be retained or adjusted in a way that preserves the integrity of their balances.

9. Children ke liye policy

Karja is not directed to children who are unable to consent to data processing under applicable law. Do not use the service if you are not legally permitted to do so.

10. Policy mein changes

We may update this policy as the product, providers or legal requirements change. The date above will reflect the latest published version.
